As Seventh-day Adventists we are fond of timelines which outline last day events such as the little time of trouble, the great time of trouble, the Sunday laws, the seven last plagues, Jacob’s time of trouble, the close of probation, the second coming, etc.. However, upon closer inspection it can be seen that not everyone’s view of things are the same. Furthermore, although nearly all agree that there are many signs of Christ’s second coming, almost no one is speaking about the signs of His kingdom. In fact it comes as almost a complete surprise and mystery to nearly everyone as they have never heard of such things even though it is one of the most profound and prominent of Christ’s teachings that is centermost in many of the parables He taught.
How is it that we can have missed something so essential to last day events and our soul salvation? No need to remain in darkness any longer, come and see why the signs of the Kingdom are even more important for one to observe than are the signs of Christ’s coming. If one should miss the signs of the Kingdom, then the signs of Christ’s coming would profit nothing, for all such will be frightened at His appearing and say “to the mountains and rocks. Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Rev. 6:16, 17.
