Are Vaccinations in Harmony With the Three Angel’s Messages?

“I am filled with sadness when I think of our condition as a people. The Lord has not closed heaven to us, but our own course of continual backsliding has separated us from God. Pride, covetousness, and love of the world have lived in the heart without fear of banishment or condemnation. Grievous and presumptuous sins have dwelt among us. And yet the general opinion is that the church is flourishing and that peace and spiritual prosperity are in all her borders.

The church has turned back from following Christ her Leader and is steadily retreating toward Egypt. Yet few are alarmed or astonished at their want of spiritual power. Doubt, and even disbelief of the testimonies of the Spirit of God, is leavening our churches everywhere. Satan would have it thus. Ministers who preach self instead of Christ would have it thus. The testimonies are unread and unappreciated. God has spoken to you. Light has been shining from His word and from the testimonies, and both have been slighted and disregarded. The result is apparent in the lack of purity and devotion and earnest faith among us.” — Testimonies Vol. 5, p. 217.2

Is is really possible that the Seventh-day Adventist Church has turned its back on Christ her leader and steadily retreating towards Egypt (the world)? How can this be so when we are professed to be God’s last day remnant church? In this post we will document one blaring example that should bring shock into the hearts of all who claim to be Seventh-day Adventists and believe in the writings of Ellen White. Why?, because the leaders of the church clearly do not believe and practice what she counsels from the Holy Bible. A pretty bold statement you might think is overly harsh but let the facts speak for themselves. Recently the official website of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists issued an official statement regarding the use of vaccines in connection with our health reform message as worded below.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has issued an official statement on vaccines, saying it “encourages responsible immunization” and has no faith-based reason to discourage believers from participating in immunization programs.

The full statement, titled, “Immunization,” says:

“The Seventh-day Adventist Church places strong emphasis on health and well-being. The Adventist health emphasis is based on biblical revelation, the inspired writing of E.G. White (co-founder of the church), and on peer-reviewed scientific literature. As such, we encourage responsible immunization/vaccination, and have no religious or faith-based reason not to encourage our adherents to responsibly participate in protective and preventive immunization programs. We value the health and safety of the population, which includes the maintenance of ‘herd immunity.’

On the surface this statement sounds pleasing and convincing to the world loving heart who does not want to shake up the status quo in the church but with a little careful thought it can be seen as a blatant denial of our health message and proof that the church leaders do not believe and practice the counsels found in the writings of Ellen White known as the Spirit of Prophecy (SOP). Abundant evidence exists that shows that the use of vaccines are a clear denial of the health reform message God has been pleased to give to His faithful followers as summarized in the following list.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20

• Vaccines all contain various toxic elements that should never be injected into our bodies such a neurotoxic mercury compounds (thermerosal), hormones in the form of proteins from unclean animals such as pigs and monkeys, formaldehyde (a carcinogen) to name a few. • The bodies best defense against infectious agents is to practice proper health reform so as to maintain a strong immune system that is best able to fight off and defeat them using the system God has put in place rather than depending upon man’s inventions.
• The vaccine industry is debased and corrupt to the core whose sole objective seems to be the gain of riches, even at the expense of much human life and untold misery for those who survive these traumatic injections. • The “peer reviewed” scientific literature that supports the alleged safety and utility of vaccines has all been supported by the very companies and organizations who stand the make the greatest gain from their implementation. Research that is found to expose the dangers of these agents is routinely suppressed and never sees the light of day. There are increasing numbers of whistle blowers who worked on some vaccines at some of the large pharmaceutical companies that have come forward to expose the blatant fraud and suppression of evidence that should have raised cause for alarm. Talk about a severe conflict of interest and moral/ethical compromise! And now we have church leaders hiding behind this ruse, an appeal to the arm of flesh and complete disregard for what inspiration has counseled us? Strange fire indeed.

Because these church leaders do not believe in her writings neither do they believe in the Holy Bible to which her writings point as the path of obedience. The scripture passages below are directly applicable.

“[Ye] hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.” — Matthew 15:7-9

Please prayerfully consider these Spirit of Prophecy counsels to the leading men of the General Conference and all those who blindly follow their leading go ahead with the herd mentality and get your children vaccinated, and don’t forget those annual flu shots which have never been proven to have any favorable effect against protection from rapidly mutating flu viruses. It seems that we have become stupefied as a people and do not believe that God can protect us from any harmful agent if we walk in obedience to His specified will in our individual lives. As such this proves that . . .

Willing Ignorance a Sin

“Guilt rests upon us as a people who have had much light, because we have not appreciated or improved the light given upon health reform. Through misunderstanding and perverted ideas many souls are deceived. Those who teach the truth to others and who should be shepherds of the flock will be held accountable for their willing ignorance and disregard of nature’s laws. This is not a matter to be trifled with, to be passed off with a jest. As we approach the close of this earth’s history, selfishness and violence and crime prevail as in the days of Noah, when the old world perished in the waters of the Flood. As Bible believers, we need to take our position for righteousness and truth.

As religious aggression subverts the liberties of our nation, those who would stand for freedom of conscience will be placed in unfavorable positions. For their own sake, they should, while they have opportunity, become intelligent in regard to disease, its causes, prevention, and cure. And those who do this will find a field of labor anywhere. There will be suffering ones, plenty of them, who will need help, not only among those of our own faith, but largely among those who know not the truth.” — Counsels on Health, p. 505-506

The Church and Health Reform

“There is a message regarding health reform to be borne in every church. There is a work to be done in every school. Neither principal nor teachers should be entrusted with the education of the youth until they have a practical knowledge of this subject. Some have felt at liberty to criticize and question and find fault with health reform principles of which they knew little by experience. They should stand shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart, with those who are working in right lines.

The subject of health reform has been presented in the churches; but the light has not been heartily received. The selfish, health-destroying indulgences of men and women have counteracted the influence of the message that is to prepare a people for the great day of God. If the churches expect strength, they must live the truth which God has given them. If the members of our churches disregard the light on this subject, they will reap the sure result in both spiritual and physical degeneracy. And the influence of these older church members will leaven those newly come to the faith. The Lord does not now work to bring many souls into the truth, because of the church members who have never been converted and those who were once converted but who have backslidden. What influence would these unconsecrated members have on new converts? Would they not make of no effect the God-given message which His people are to bear?” — Testimonies Vol. 6, p. 370
